Visiting the Oval Office of the White House isn’t just about getting to speak to President Joe Biden. It is also about the sweet treats he gives out!

Remember after the inauguration when First Lady Jill Biden delivered chocolate chip cookies to the National Guard in thanks for the work they did keeping her family safe during the ceremonies? It seems that this was a sign of things to come.

Why do I say that? Because according to Mashed, it seems that the Biden White House has really embraced the cookie magic. In fact, if you happen to visit with President Joe Biden in the Oval Office he actually gives out cookies to his visitors.

The cookies are packaged up and feature the presidential seal, and when Congressional members visit the White House, they get to take those cookies back to the Capitol with them. And it is not just members of Congress who are treated to these cookie packs.

Whether it is a White House staffer, a politician, or someone else paying a visit to the Oval Office, it seems that if you are visiting the President, you can walk away with a sweet treat. Is it any surprise that by the 100 day mark of the Biden administration, the White House has already given away more than 4200 cookies?

While there are a lot of important things that happen in Washington D.C. and the White House, we can’t help but appreciate this little act of kindness. It is always nice to read news that is more sweet than anything else. And what could be sweeter than the President and the White House making sure that everyone can enjoy a cookie or two during the day?

Of course, we aren’t sure yet if the only cookies that have made it into the Oval Office cookie bowl are Chocolate Chip or if another flavor has been baked up. After all, we know that the First Lady’s favorite cookie is the oatmeal, cranberry, and chocolate chunk cookies that Giada De Laurentiis is known for.

No matter which flavor it is that the White House is baking up for the President to hand out, we are here for it. And if we happened to call President Joe Biden the cookie master, who could blame us.
