When it comes to guilty eats, we tend to love fast food places like Taco Bell. But not everything on the menu is a winner. In fact, we think that sometimes they try so hard to be innovative that they end up going too far.

While there are some items we wish they would bring back (we still miss you MexiMelts), there are other items we never want to see again or that we think need a one way trip off the menu entirely. Obviously there are some items that are better than others, but when it comes to Taco Bell, sometimes things just don’t work.

And even though the idea of more is more can work in some cases, in others less really is more. Whether these menu items suffered because of too many ingredients or because they simply didn’t live up to their potential, there is something lacking in all seven of these items.

We expect the best from Taco Bell, but sadly these items just don’t live up to what we want.

7. The Cheesy Roll Up

We love cheese and if you throw it into a flour tortilla and melt it, we expect to enjoy every ooey-gooey bite. But sadly that’s just not the case with the Cheesy Roll Up.

Often times, instead of ooey-gooey cheese, we end up getting something that is dry and rubbery instead. I’m not sure what happens in the process of making this particular menu item, but I have never once seen or enjoyed one that actually ended up living up to its potential. This is a waste of a dollar and that’s pretty sad for a simple menu item that should work on principle alone.
