It’s a good day in foodie news! Not only is it I Love Reese’s Day, but fast food favorite Taco Bell has announced the return of the Naked Chicken Chalupa.

Taco Bell’s Naked Chicken Chalupa isn’t your typical entry into the chicken wars that fast food restaurants have been competing in for your now, but I’d say Taco Bell has one this round fair and square.

After all, as the fast food chain shares, aren’t the chicken wars too predictable? Leave it to Taco Bell to spice things up! Now, if you’ve never heard about the Naked Chicken Chalupa, well…shame on you!

However, we can’t blame you too much! It was a menu favorite, but the fast food joint decided to remove it for some reason, and now it’s back! What does it consist of and is it only available for a limited time? Here’s what we know about the return of the Naked Chicken Chalupa.

We love this Taco Bell favorite

You didn’t think Taco Bell would bring back the Naked Chicken Chalupa without re-introducing it to the menu without a presentation, did you? No. The fast food chain has gone all out! Just check out the video presentation, here:

When can you enjoy the Naked Chicken Chalupa? First introduced in 2017, the meal is back at the fast food restaurant on May 20, 2021. Are you a Taco Bell Rewards member? If so, the fast food chain is letting members bite into the Naked Chicken Chalupa a day early on May 19.

The Naked Chicken Chalupa is white chicken meat that is marinated in Mexican spices and rolled into a crunchy coating. Once crispy, it’s stuffed with lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, and avocado ranch sauce.
