Chili’s enters the chicken sandwich wars with worthy opponent

The chicken sandwich wars continue and Chili’s Grill and Bar has entered the chat! This new chicken sandwich is a worthy opponent and a must-have meal this summer.

Now, Chili’s is a personal favorite restaurant of mine! I’m always happy to share the latest tasty meals and deals from the restaurant. From its appetizers (I always need to order the Skillet Queso) to its Margarita of the Month, I love everything on the menu.

However, should Chili’s be entering the chicken sandwich wars?

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the chicken at Chili’s! The chicken fajitas are in my top 5 favorite meals. What I mean is —  should the chicken sandwich wars be fast food territory? It was fun when KFC and Popeyes battled it out.

Soon enough, more fast food chains joined, but now restaurants? On one hand, I prefer this food war be exclusively for fast food chains to keep it as affordable for foodies as possible. But on the other hand, how can I say no to another chicken sandwich? And one from Chili’s, at that!

I say try them all and pick a favorite. Perhaps, more restaurants will enter the chicken sandwich wars and we’ll have one fast food winner and another restaurant winner. That way, we have two options, two budgets.
