This week on Hell’s Kitchen, there was a double elimination, some great and delicious looking food being cooked, tons of attitude, and a tiny little scandal that ultimately got somebody sent home. From Gordon Ramsay yelling at the Blue Team because they couldn’t get their s*** together, to the red team having a near perfect first dinner service, this week was definitely one for the books.

Who’s your favorite young gun chef on Hell’s Kitchen? Let us know down below!

Okay, let’s get into this whole thermometer scandal….first of all, according to the rules, chefs aren’t allowed to bring in any sort of outside kitchen tools; anything that isn’t already in the kitchen basically just isn’t allowed in.

One of the Blue Team teammates noticed that young gun chef Matthew was secretly (or so he thought) checking the meat and chicken with a digital thermometer, and putting back to be refired whenever the temps weren’t correct.

When discussing how absolutely terrible the Blue Team’s dinner service was, Gordon Ramsay brought up an extra nominee to be considered for elimination. However, ultimately, he ended up sending Matthew home for a combo of his immature attitude, not being ready for the big boy kitchens, and he also said the following: “….worst of all, your attitude sucks, therefore, I’m not listening to your b***s***. Give me your jacket.” Yikes

Being on Hell’s Kitchen isn’t easy; I couldn’t even see myself on it. However, all of these contestants were chosen for a reason, yet Matthew couldn’t even prove his. Seeing him on this program made me wonder how exactly he got chosen, why they thought he’d make a good (potential) protige of Mr. Ramsay himself, and so so much more.

Matthew, get your s*** together and grow the hell up. If you wanna make it far in this industry, a lot needs to change.
