Denny’s is celebrating summer’s return with the Red, White, and Blue, and more treats

The Red, White, and Blue is back at Denny’s as the perfect kick off to summer. And that’s not all the chain has to offer as we head into the season.

Just in time for the summer months, Denny’s is giving us some tasty and even patriotic offerings that we can’t wait to sink our teeth into. And thanks to this press release from the company, we know exactly what our next meal will be.

Not only are they bringing back the Red, White, and Blue Pancake Breakfast, but they are also giving us the perfect way to end a meal too with their Cinnamon Sugar Pancake Puppies. Of course, this year, the Red, White, and Blue looks a bit different, which is why we are already planning our next breakfast stop.

Denny’s is giving us some tasty summer dishes for a limited time

So what can we expect from Denny’s this summer?

With the Red, White, and Blue Pancake Breakfast, we can expect to enjoy “a light and fluffy stack of pancakes crafted with fresh buttermilk and blueberries and topped with freshly sliced strawberries, a drizzle of cream cheese icing and a dollop of sweet, whipped cream, served up with two eggs, golden hash browns, plus two crispy bacon strips or sausage links.” (That sounds downright drool-worthy to me.)

The Cinnamon Sugar Pancake Puppies are bite size rounds of pancake dough that have been fried up to golden brown perfection and then dusted in cinnamon and sugar. For these made to order bites of foodie goodness, we can snag them in orders of six or 10 and then dip them in either the cream cheese icing or the syrup of your choice. Of course, you can always just eat them as is and savor the the cinnamon sugar of it all.

And if you happen to be in the Los Angeles area and want to try something delicious and hearty, why not give their Lumberjack Burrito a try? in a grilled flour tortilla, you’ll find scrambled eggs, cheese, hash browns, sausage crumbles, bacon, and ham, as well as a fresh pico de gallo. This hearty offering is then served with a side of sour cream and hash browns.

Two other burritos making their debut in the L.A. area are the Chorizo Burrito and the Cali Chicken Burrito. And all three of these burritos can get a side of fresh guacamole added to the mix.

While we are sad that we can’t get our hands on those Burritos, we are pretty excited about the other two national dishes on the Denny’s menu.
