High West Whiskey is doing its part for conservation efforts
When you think of High West Whiskey, what is the first thing that comes to mind? If conservation efforts came to mind, then you are on the right path.
In a press email from High West Whiskey, we learned that in June, they partnered with American Prairie, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving the prairie ecosystem. And how did they do this? Well it’s two-fold really.
High West Distillery launched an interactive mobile game for a limited time called Prairie Dash! It is a chance to give back, while also having some fun and we are all about that. Doing good and having fun is worth it! So how does this game give back? It seems that for every game played, High West is donating $1 to American Prairie, up to $50,000.
On top of getting a chance to do good by playing a game, there is an even bigger prize if you will. And that is a chance to win a trip to visit the High West Distillery in Utah.
High West Distillery is doing their part to make summer special
But what if you aren’t a fan of playing mobile games? Well that’s okay too, because there are other ways to support these conservation efforts.
Not only is there the game option, but if you want to snag a bottle of their American Prairie Bourbon on the High West website or through the Drizly platform, they will still donate a portion of the proceeds to American Prairie.
Basically, this is a summer of conservation efforts for High West Distillery and we love that. We love the fact that a whiskey company is doing their part to make a difference in terms of environmental conservation.
I am a newly converted fan of High West Whiskey and I love that they are doing this for the summer. In fact, knowing what they are doing has me wanting to snag a bottle or two to give as gifts to friends, while knowing that will support a good cause.
What do you think of this effort by High West Distillery? Will you be snagging a bottle of the American Prairie Bourbon? Will you play the game? Let us know in the comments.
