Hell’s Kitchen Young Guns, Episode 7: Antonio is on the up
Hell’s Kitchen Young Guns is nothing short of your typical season of Hell’s Kitchen with more seasoned chefs; there is still your fair share of drama, yelling, screw ups, etc. You name it, the show’s got it, and yes, we absolutely love it all!
This week, someone got kicked out mid dinner service, and no not just to leave the kitchen, go back to the dorms, and thinking about someone to place onto the chopping block. What we mean is Chef Ramsay straight up eliminated someone in the middle of dinner service this week, and that person was the following: Kevin. Because of this, no one won or lost this week; all was equal, yay!
Okay, let’s get into this week’s episode…. All I can say is one thing: I don’t like Antonio. He reminds me of Little Mark from last season, and in all honesty, they both just bug the living s*** out of me. However, on the other hand, he does seem to be having more success each week, which is always much appreciated.
Who’s your favorite young gun chef on Hell’s Kitchen Young Guns? Let us know down below!
From the get-go, don’t get me wrong, Antonio’s been an okay Chef in my personal opinion; however, between last week with him getting a menu item on Chef Ramsay’s daughter’s dinner party menu, to this week, where while his soccer skills left much to be desired, his cooking skills were certainly up to par. I mean, I don’t have to like a person or a chef just because they’re improving and doing well, am I right?
Unlike Megan, whom we highlighted last week, Antonio knows he’s good, and he absolutely loves everyone to know it, whether or not he comes off as cocky and arrogant (which he is BTW).
My personal male pick to win Hell’s Kitchen Young Guns from episode one, before really seeing much besides all of them cook their signature dishes and beyond, is Trenton. I call him The Silent Killer. It’s those that get side-praised by Gordon Ramsay after dinner service in private that you have to watch out for. So, any Trenton haters out there can go re-watch this week’s episode just to see for themselves.
What are your thoughts on Antonio, love him? Hate him? What about Tenton and Steven? Love them or hate them (even though hating them in literally impossible)? Let us know down below! Also, what would you most like to try from off of the Hell’s Kitchen menu (mine’s the Beef Wellington, by a mile!)?
