You just gotta love Taco Bell. They received a ton of bad foodie press when the COVID-19 pandemic began due to them having to greatly reduce their menu and the fact it meant a lot of fan favorites went to the fast food graveyard.
But now? They seem to be back and better then ever. No, not every item you remember has made a comeback, but The Bell has been busy introducing a number of brand new items and reimagined classics that keep fans coming back for more.
Combined with the announced return of their famous and incredibly good Nacho Fries, it’s a pretty good time to be a fan of Taco Bell.
And if the folks at Chewboom are to be believed, you may soon want every day to be Taco Tuesday. Because they are reporting that a pair of new Flatbread Tacos are on the way that should make any taco lover ready to ring that bell.
Say hello to the Taco Bell Loaded Chicken and Beefy Potato Flatbread Tacos.

First up is the brand new Loaded Chicken Flatbread Taco. It includes grilled chicken topped with lettuce, tomato, shredded cheddar cheese and avocado ranch sauce. Loaded indeed. The other is the Beefy Potato Flatbread Taco, which included ground beef, chipotle sauce and yes, potatoes.
What makes this pair of new items really stand out is the flatbread. While it’s nothing new, this is the first time we can remember Taco Bell trying something like this. For those wondering, flatbread is more like a pita bread then the shell or tortilla you may be used to. It can give the taco more of a sandwich feel.
If you ever had one of Taco Bell’s much missed Gorditas, you get the idea.
Both new Flatbread Tacos will arrive at all Taco Bells starting on July 22 after a successful test run in a very limited market. No word yet if the addition to the menu is permanent or for a limited time, so be safe and get one sooner rather then later.
