August 4 is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day and just in time for that sweet day the iconic brand Famous Amos is going international! But what does that mean?

According to a press email we received in the lead up to this sweet holiday, the Famous Amos brand is getting reimagined. To do this, they are introducing three new flavors of cookies, each using international ingredients that offer the same premium quality we know and love from the brand.

And all three bags will be available at retailers nationwide starting this month (I actually stumbled across them in my local Stop & Shop already!) at a price of $4.49 per 7 ounce bag.

Honestly all three flavors are delicious! And honestly, will make your National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day that much more magical. So what are the recipes?

New Famous Amos Cookie Recipes

  • Belgian Chocolate Chip – Take a classic chocolate chip cookie and then take it to the next level by using authentic Belgian chocolate for the chips.
  • Philippine Coconut and White Chocolate Chip – This is a chocolate cookie with white chocolate chips and Philippine coconut flakes for a tasty treat with every bite.
  • Mediterranean Hazelnut and Chocolate Chip – And back to the classic cookie being taken up a notch, as we take a chocolate chip cookie and add in hazelnuts from the Mediterranean!

While the more classic cookie will always be the ultimate flavor (the Belgian Chocolate Chip version of the classic that is), the other two flavors are just as magical and amazing. And we can’t wait to stock up on these cookies and pour that glass of milk and snack away.
