Unlike most fast food restaurants, Chick-fil-A sort of goes by its own rules. The popular chicken stop closes on Sundays and most holidays. Here are the holidays you can expect to find close doors and/or short hours of operation.
Most restaurants are open early morning and late at night, many even offer service via the drive-thru 24 hours a day! That’s not the case for this fast food chain!
In fact, not every Chick-fil-A location operates the same. A quick Google search for restaurants in my surrounding area show me that each location opens at a different time.
Chick-fil-A hours: What time does the fast food chain close?
Not all operate the same. The earliest I found is 5 a.m., in a very busy area that is around several businesses, so that makes sense. Another location, however, doesn’t open until 11 a.m., and it is by a mall that doesn’t open until 11 a.m. as well, so that also makes perfect sense.
Other times I found are 6 a.m. (being the most popular) and 6:30 a.m. And the majority seem to close at 10 p.m., with a few at 7 p.m. (like the one by the mall). What hours do your locations follow?
These hours are very different from other fast food chains. McDonald’s, for example, is either open 24 hours or from 5 a.m. to midnight. The same can be said for Burger King, Jack in the Box, and others.
Which holidays is Chick-fil-A closed for?

This, in addition to every Sunday. Most restaurants also have short hours on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Which holidays is Chick-fil-A open for?
Pretty much, the fast food chain is open for all other holidays. Again, Chick-fil-A has different hours of operation on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Even, and New Year’s Day, but they are open.
