As we like to do over here at Guilty Eats, we’re ranking our favorite foods again, and this time we decided to rank a whopping 25 of the best M&M flavors.

M&Ms are really good; there’s no better way to say it, and really, what’s not to love, people?! Chocolaty goodness, usually with nuts and of course the different flavors the good people at the M&M plant come up with.

So without any more of the zigzagging from the point, let’s take a look at our 25 top M&M picks and see just which flavor nailed that top spot

From best of the best to worst of the best:

25. Key Lime Pie M&M

Oh no they didn’t!

Yes, they most certainly did, and just how they got M&Ms, of all things, to taste like one of the greatest pies in history, I will never know.

24. Candy Corn M&Ms

Halloween is on the dark horizon, dear friends, and I hope I can find these at my local store, and during the Halloween season, perhaps there is no other more appropriate candy than Candy Corn.

23. Orange Vanilla Cream M&Ms

When we were kids, my sister and I used to fight over Orange Cream Ice cream bars. Really, there was no better flavor than Orange. These take me back to those summer days.

22. Coffee Nut M&M

When I was in college, I couldn’t get enough coffee (really, who couldn’t). One day, I was running late for an English Lit exam and couldn’t grab my morning coffee (can you say: the walking dead?).

Long story short, my buddy Jack passed me a tin with these little chocolates inside. I looked at him, puzzled, and he whispered: “Chocolate-covered coffee beans.” And he nodded, like it was our little secret now.

These M&Ms take me back to that day, and that exam…and Jack.

21. Mint Dark Chocolate M&Ms

I’m not usually a fan of dark chocolate, but these are good. Especially after a heavy meal.

20. English Toffee M&M

I personally cannot get enough English Toffee candies. These little gems hit the spot whenever I get a craving, and if you love English Toffee, you’ll love them too.

19. Crispy M&M

These hit the spot when you want that extra crunch in your chocolate and nutty chocolate just won’t do.

18. Pretzel M&Ms

This flavor is perfect when you’re looking for something sweet but not too sweet. The pretzel here really takes it up a notch, specifically the saltiness of the pretzel itself.

17. Fudge Brownie M&Ms

You’d think that these would have scored higher, but they really didn’t land for me. They really don’t taste like gooey and tasty brownies at all.

16. Dark Chocolate M&M

Again, dark chocolate isn’t at all my favorite chocolate, but I love it in M&M form; doesn’t seem as assaulting and bitter for some reason.

15. Caramel M&Ms

I love caramels on their own, but when you add chocolate with the caramel, something doesn’t quite add up. They did land at number 15, which isn’t at all bad, especially considering this is a top 25 list and all, but they could have done better with this one.

14. Carrot Cake M&Ms

Believe it or not, these little buggers actually taste like carrot cake, and very much like with the Key Lime Pie flavor, I’ve got no clue as to how they did it.

13. Chocolate Popcorn M&M

They score higher than the pretzel flavor, but I actually like these for the same reason: they’re the perfect snack when you want something sweet but not too sweet (the epic conundrum for compulsive snackers the world over, I’m sure).

12. White Chocolate Marshmallow M&M

I taste mostly the marshmallow in here, and although they aren’t Whippet cookies (which I adore), these are quite good in their own right.

11. Sugar Cookie M&Ms

Sometimes, depending on your mood, there’s nothing better than a sugar cookie. These don’t taste anything like the sugar cookies I’m used to, but they’re good.

10. Espresso M&Ms

Very much like the last entry, they don’t taste like espresso at all, but they come close to chocolate-covered coffee beans for sure.

The smell of real espresso is something you don’t forget—and the taste of it too. But to go back to the smell, espresso is something you can smell when walking down the street in Little Italy (pick your city) and all of a sudden the wind picks up and you get a whiff of a coffee so strong it can only be authentic espresso from a proper machine that was perhaps assembled in 1911.

These M&Ms do not smell like that when you crack one open.

9. Cheesecake M&M

Again, they don’t really taste like cheesecake but they taste alright on their own merit. They perhaps should have named them something else entirely.

8. Coconut M&Ms

Now we’re getting to it…top eight and this one is the perfect lead-in, friends. Coconut and chocolate are indeed the perfect pair.

7. White Chocolate Peppermint M&M

Did someone say candy canes? Ah! The taste of Christmas.

6. Honey Nut M&M

Almost like eating a chocolate-covered Cheerio.

5. Pumpkin Spice M&M

I cannot wait for the fall. 1) because of the cooler weather, 2) because of Halloween, and 3) because the Pumpkin Spice Coffee makes its triumphant return to my local coffee shop. Yay for Pumpkin Spice, and yay for M&Ms who did a decent job of bringing the flavor to their product.

4. Hazelnut Spread M&M

Man…there’s no greater spread than Nutella. These are almost at that level, but they certainly don’t land as expected. They’re a good option, but if I were you, I’d go for Ferrero Rocher instead.

3. Peanut M&M

You can’t beat a classic. The first M&M I ever tasted and certainly one of the greatest flavors.

2. White Chocolate M&M

I love white chocolate and these definitely will satisfy the craving for any white chocolate lovers out there.

1. Almond M&Ms

Nothing beats a chocolate bar with almonds in it, as far as I’m concerned. So why not classify the chocolate covered almonds from M&M as their greatest flavor?

What do you think of these rankings Guilty Eats nation? Which is your favorite flavor of M&M? We want to know.
