Tamra Judge shares how her experience with the Keto Diet went

When it comes to the Real Housewives, we know that they often have the ability to try any number of things that we may not. But Tamra Judge recently tried the Keto Diet and things did not seem to go as expected.

While we know that we should always speak to a medical professional before starting a new diet or health regimen, there have been times that we have been swayed to try something because of our favorite celebrities. And the same holds true for us when it comes to the Real Housewives, like Judge.

So what exactly happened with the reality star’s attempt at the Keto Diet?

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum, Tamra Judge, revealed in June of 2021 that she was planning to give the Keto Diet a try. Considering Judge has been open about not only her health and wellness, but also her “autoimmune issues,” it makes sense that she would share this news with her followers.

However, according to Bravo’s Style and Living site, it seems that the Keto Diet was not meant to be for Judge.

Recently Judge did an Ask Me Anything over on Instagram, and during that Q&A session, a follower asked her whether or not she was still doing the Keto Diet (which if you weren’t aware is an eating plan that sees dieters eating a high fat, low carb diet).

The reality star was quick to say that she was not. In her answer, Judge explained, “No I gained weight.” She then went on to say that she was back to what has worked for her in the past, “I’ll stick to my healthy diet of lean protein, veggies, fruits & good fats.”

For some people, the Keto Diet is just not the way to go. And clearly that is what happened with Tamra Judge.

Her experience with this diet plan may not be the same as what other people experience, but it is a reminder that when we start looking for ways to get healthy or healthier or even lose weight, we really need to speak to experts. We don’t know if Judge spoke to her doctor before trying Keto (although we expect that she did), but her experience is definitely one that we can look to as an example that not every diet will work for everyone.
