Kellogg’s brings Elf on the Shelf cereal back to store shelves early
Christmas is coming earlier than ever as the Elf on the Shelf is hitting Walmart shelves in the form of two tasty cereals from Kellogg’s in September!
On September 21, a press release from Kellogg’s revealed the exciting news that a new flavor of cereal was joining the Elf on the Shelf family. According to the company, we can “find the new Kellogg’s The Elf on the Shelf Hot Cocoa Cereal exclusively at Walmart, while Kellogg’s The Elf on the Shelf Sugar Cookie Cereal returns to stores nationwide and online.”
What this means is that we are not only getting a cocoa flavor this year, but the sugar cookie flavor that so many people already love is coming back for more holiday fun. And that is epic news for anyone who is obsessed with the Elf on the Shelf. In the past, we have snagged pancake mixes and kits to make Elf on the Shelf inspired breakfasts, and with two flavors of cereal to choose from, it makes breakfast easier than ever.
Kellogg’s is giving us a new Elf on the Shelf cereal, while bringing back the magic of the sugar cookie
While the Sugar Cookie flavor of Elf on the Shelf cereal has already won us over, there is something to be said for a cocoa option that is inspired by Santa’s favorite drink. Described in the Kellogg’s press release as, “Featuring cocoa-coated star pieces that intermingle with white mini marshmallows, each spoonful evokes the rich, chocolatey taste of a mug of hot cocoa,” this cereal is already making holiday magic happen, and we haven’t even gotten passed Halloween yet!
When it comes to stocking up on cereals to get us through the work week, we are always looking for fun flavors that keep the boredom and monotony away. And what better way is there to do that than by adding a little Elf on the Shelf magic to the mix? Considering these two cereals come to us from Kellogg’s we know we are getting delicious bites in every bowl and that’s why we already know that if we want to enjoy Christmas magic from now until the end of the holiday season, then we need to stock up now.
