Serendipity3 is celebrating the return of Broadway with a very special sundae
Broadway is back and Serendipity3 is celebrating. And what better way is there to celebrate than by creating a delicious new sundae inspired by a show that feels like a foodie must-see?
In honor of Broadway raising the lights and hitting the stage once more, Serendipity3 has decided to create a new Sundae inspired by none other than the musical Waitress. And we are living for this “Pie in the Sky Sundae.”
According to the press release about this special sundae, it will cost us $26.95 to enjoy this ode to Waitress. And a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Artist Relief Fund, which helps to “support the creatives who have suffered financial loss due to the pandemic.”
So what makes the Broadway’s Waitress Pie in the Sky Sundae so special (and maybe even delicious too)?

In the press email we received, they described this sundae as featuring “a slice of Jenna’s famous Blueberry Pie, with three celebratory scoops of Serendipity Vanilla Vogue ice cream and Blueberry-Ginger Sauce, a dreamy mountain of Whipped Cream, topped with a sprinkling of Fresh Blueberries and a Cherry.”
If that doesn’t sound amazing, I don’t know what does. There is something special about blueberry and vanilla ice cream coming together in a sundae. And the fact that they also add in the rather unique twist of ginger in the form of the Blueberry-Ginger Sauce makes this hard to resist.
We are big fans of Serendipity ice cream and this is no exception. The fact that it helps to support and celebrate Broadway makes it truly special. However, it doesn’t stop there, as Serendipity3 and Waitress want to really make fans happy with a very special giveaway.
"Serendipity3 and “Waitress” will be offering a pair of complimentary tickets to the Broadway Show in NYC via a social media giveaway. To enter, dine in at the restaurant by October 31st and post a photo on Instagram of your “Broadway’s ‘Waitress’ Pie in the Sky Sundae” and tagging @serendipity3nyc, @serendipitybrands and @waitressmusical. One lucky winner will be receiving a pair of tickets to the show for any date of their choosing in November or December."
At the end of the day, we are so excited by this Pie in the Sky Sundae and of course, the way Serendipity3 is helping to celebrate Broadway’s return.
