Is there anything that screams breakfast more than Eggo Waffles or Pop-Tarts? With both of these tasty treats, it is all about the mornings. So what happens when these two breakfast foods come together? We end up with the ultimate breakfast treat of course!

In December 2021, the breakfast world gets a shakeup as the ultimate treat is set to hit grocery store shelves. According to the press email we received about this epic collaboration, we will be able to enjoy Eggo Frosted Maple Flavor Pop-Tarts starting in December.

These new, limited edition Pop-Tarts will be available in an eight count box for just $2.99 (depending on where you live of course), as well as a two count package at select convenience stores for an easy and delicious breakfast on the go.

So what can you expect with this special breakfast collaboration?

Pop-Tarts meet Eggo Waffles in newest flavor collaboration

For the crust of pastry, we get “a flaky, buttery-yellow crust, reminiscent of an Eggo waffle.” The filling itself is a maple-flavored filling that gives us the sweetness we expect from syrup coated waffles. Finally, the icing on top of the Pop-Tart is reminiscent of a waffle thanks to the grid pattern made using both a white icing under and yellow icing stripes.

This is two iconic breakfast brands and foods coming together to give us the ultimate treat just in time for Christmas! Think of this as Santa’s gift to foodies. (Or maybe it is Kellogg’s gift to foodies.)

As fans of both Pop-Tarts and Eggo Waffles, we can’t wait to get our hands on a box of these Eggo Frosted Maple Syrup flavor Pop-Tarts. This may become the only thing we eat for breakfast throughout the holiday season!
