Bring the magic of Fall home with this Apple Crisp Macchiato inspired TAZO recipe
Have you fallen in love with the new Starbucks Apple Crisp Macchiato? Do you want to keep the magic of this seasonal drink going all winter long? TAZO wants to help.
We love TAZO tea. We love all the flavors and the variety of products they have to offer. But sometimes we want to try and replicate drinks we have tried on the go. And of course, Starbucks is a go-to for our sipping needs, so it makes sense that if we can get a copycat of one of their drinks at home, then we are in.
With the help of Muddling Memories, TAZO tea is giving us a copycat recipe that we can’t resist. And while we can always just sip on a mug of their Organic Baked Cinnamon Apple tea, we think taking it to a whole new level is a must!
We love an elevated drink. And with TAZO’s Apple Spice Latte, we are definitely taking this tea to the next level. As an added bonus, this drink is easy enough for us to do at home without wanting to run to the closest Starbucks.
TAZO’s recipe for an Apple Spice Latte
So how do we make Fall magic no matter what time of year it is? With this epic recipe of course:
What you need:
- 1/2 cup of boiling water
- 1 Organic Baked Cinnamon Apple TAZO Tea Bag
- 1/4 cup of apple cider
- 1 tablespoon of ginger honey syrup (see below for the recipe for this)
- 1/4 cup of frothed, unsweet oat milk
To make the ginger honey syrup, mix together two tablespoons of fresh ginger with a quarter cup of honey and a quarter cup of hot water. Stir until the honey is dissolved. This recipe makes approximately a third of a cup of syrup, which means you will have extra.
What to do:
Start by steeping your tea bag in the boiling water for five minutes. Next, warm up the apple cider. In a mug, mix together the tea, the cider, and your ginger honey syrup. Then top it with the frothed milk.
If you want to garnish your drink, they recommend adding a dash of cinnamon or even a thin slice of apple.
Honestly, I am loving this recipe and can’t wait to make this all winter long. The fact that it really is just that easy makes it a win for us. But what do you think? Will you be trying this inspired recipe for yourself?
