When you think of holiday candles, you don’t exactly think Ace Hardware but that might be about to change because this season they are introducing a Thanksgiving candle that includes five different scents in one.

The candle is called the Thanksgrilling 5-Course Scented Candle and features a scent for each of the dishes you might have at Thanksgiving. The first layer is smoked spatchcocked turkey. It’s followed by cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole, sage and sausage stuffing, and pumpkin pie cheesecake. It’s currently $14.99 on the Ace Hardware website.

Ok, let’s talk about these scents! What in the world is spatchcocked smoke turkey going to smell like and why would you want your house to smell like that?

Also, spatchcocked is basically just butterflying a whole chicken. It’s not going to make it smell any different so I’m not sure why that descriptor was included. Whatever it smells like, you’re going to have to get through it before you get to the other scents.

Cranberry sauce is probably going to smell pretty good. Fruity and sweet with a little tartness. Sweet potato casserole probably smells like the equivalent of marshmallows or birthday cake since this casserole usually has marshmallows and plenty of sugar involved.

The sage and sausage stuffing could be good but once again, if they really got the smell of sausage in there, I don’t know if you want that scent in a candle. Even sage can be overpowering if the smell is too intense.

Pumpkin pie cheesecake is probably going to smell amazing. It will have a hint of pumpkin, cream cheese, and plenty of sugary notes. It sounds like the perfect smell for a late fall day.

If you want one of these holiday candles, they are only available on the Ace Hardware website and only until supplies last so get them while you can.
