And the hits just keep coming. If you read Guilty Eats regularly, then you know how Burger King is pushing the envelope of fast food innovation in other parts of the world. It seems like everywhere but in the good old USA fans get all kinds on new ideas thrown at them.

Just a few weeks ago we were reporting on the Franken Whopper you could get from Burger King Canada which is a Whopper with onion rings and french fries on it. Before that we had the amazing looking Big Mouth Burger from Burger King Japan that was truly awe inspiring.

And now it looks like the chain’s ideas aren’t stopping just with their burgers anymore. Now they’ve decided to start doing new things with their chicken as well. Just not here. For the fast food chain’s latest idea you’ll have to head to Japan.

It is being reported by the fine folks at Chewboom that Burger King Japan has introduced a new item called Cheddarich Chicken Nuggets. You can probably guess where this is going from the name but humor us for a few moments.

Cheddarich Chicken Nuggets are only available at Burger King in Japan.

Cheddarich Chicken Nuggets are chunks of all-white meat chicken breast mixed with cheddar cheese covered in batter and then fried to a golden brown. Yes, they have combined chicken and cheese into a single menu item that sounds too good to be true.

And you can only get them in Japan. How it that fair? How is that right?

Hopefully the Cheddarich Chicken Nuggets will make their way to the States down the road. Because if this keeps up, this foodie may have to consider moving. Get it together Burger King and bring some of this awesome stuff home!
