When you think of Outback Steakhouse, what menu item comes to mind first (and we don’t mean the steak)? And does it happen to be an item off of their appetizer section?

Honestly, when it comes to Outback Steakhouse, our first thought is almost always their Bloomin’ Onion (seriously, you can never go wrong with fried onion petals with a tangy dipping sauce). And that’s a good thing, because on November 11 for Veterans Day, the steakhouse is honoring our active duty military members and veterans with that delicious appetizer as part of their deal.

According to Offers.com,

"Free Bloomin’ Onion & Coca Cola product for Active Military & Veterans on Veterans Day."

Outback Steakhouse is offering a free Bloomin’ Onion for Veterans Day

While the deal doesn’t specify that it is a dine-in only deal, for most restaurants the deals have to be enjoyed in house only (likely because customers have to show ID to get the deal), which means we expect this to hold true for Outback Steakhouse too.

The only other “exclusion” that was listed when it came to this offer was that it was only valid at participating locations, but no other details were shared. But considering they are honoring members of the military and veterans, we doubt many restaurants are going to not offer this deal. That being said, we would definitely ask about this offer before ordering.

You can’t go wrong with a Bloomin’ Onion and a Coca Cola, especially when combined with one of their delicious steaks, ribs, or even chicken dishes. There really are any number of tasty menu items. And if you are starting with a free appetizer and drink, you may even want to splurge a little with some of their other entrees. Either way, this is a delicious Veterans Day deal.
