Thanksgiving is coming up fast and if you are looking to make things easier, you may be looking for a meal kit like they offer from Purple Carrot. And with the days counting down, there is not much time left to get our hands on their very special, Thanksgiving Box.
So what is this Thanksgiving Box and why do we think it is a must for foodies looking to add a more vegan touch to their table? Well, this particular Purple Carrot offer launched on October 15 and costs $75 plus tax.
And what comes in the box? Well a full on meal of course! I mean we are talking the ingredients and recipes to make four servings of six items from your holiday menu (I’d call them dishes, but gravy and cranberry sauce aren’t exactly on the same level as say a turkey).
Purple Carrot brings the plant-based deliciousness to your Thanksgiving table
The limited Thanksgiving Box from Purple Carrot features:
- Quinoa Stuffed Delicata Squash with Garlicky Kale and Golden Raisins
- Rustic Ciabatta Stuffing with Root Vegetables and Herb Sausage
- Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Oyster Mushrooms and Garlic Kimchi Butter
- Cranberry Sauce
- Classic Gravy
- Pear Cranberry Crisp with Walnut Crumble
Considering how close it is to Thanksgiving, the last day you can order the Thanksgiving Box from Purple Carrot is November 16. And hopefully, by the time you snag it, it is still available, as these do sell out.
As someone who has tried Purple Carrot in the past (even though I am not necessarily a plant-based eater), I can admit that this box might in fact be a must for anyone looking to make healthier choices for Thanksgiving this year.
Of course, even if you don’t get a Thanksgiving Box, you may still want to give Purple Carrot a try, because they offer some amazing meals every week, including dishes such as Tropical Coconut Pancakes with Mango & Kiwi, Japanese Gnocchi with Miso Tomato Butter & Bok Choy, or even Winter Squash Soup with Sticky Rice & Sesame Bok Choy.
So what do you think? Are you curious about Purple Carrot? Will you be giving them a try for yourself? We want to know.
