On November 16, Smashburger dropped the news that they were getting festive with an entirely new handspun shake hitting their menu for the holiday season. That new shake is the Peppermint Hot Chocolate Shake.

But, as Chew Boom reported, they also brought back their classic, fan-favorite shake – the Gingerbread Holiday Shake. And if you have ever sipped on one of their Gingerbread Holiday Shakes, then you already know why this is a favorite. This is frozen holiday magic in a cup!

But back to the new shake that has joined the Gingerbread Holiday Shake!

Smashburger adds two festive holiday shakes to the menu until the end of 2021

So what makes the Peppermint Hot Chocolate Shake so special? As Smashburger explains in their description of this frozen treat,

"Crafted with Ghirardelli hot cocoa peppermint mix and Häagen Dazs ice cream, the Peppermint Hot Chocolate Shake is a delicious hand-spun shake that is topped with peppermint candies."

They had me at Ghirardelli and Häagen Dazs with this one. But at the same time, there is something magical about a shake that gives us two of the classic flavors of the holidays (and winter) in a single sip. And that’s exactly what happens with this handcrafted shake.

According to the press email we were sent on behalf of Smashburger, it is important to note that both the Peppermint Hot Chocolate Shake and the Gingerbread Holiday Shake will only be available on the menu until December 31, so if you want to enjoy these holiday treats you’ll want to get it while you can.
