Is Target open on Thanksgiving 2021?

Thanksgiving is just around the corner so hopefully, you have all the things you need for the big meal. But if you forgot something for your famous stuffing recipe, for the pumpkin pie, or for the table, could you possibly head over to Target and pick it up on Thanksgiving Day?

Unfortunately, Target will not be open on Thanksgiving. They are once again closed this year to give their employees a break on the holiday and so no one feels the need to worry about getting the best deals on a day that’s supposed to be more about family than shopping.

So if you need any last-minute items for Turkey Day, you’ll need to get them the day before. Target will be open during its regular hours on Wednesday, Nov 24, 2021.

If you are interested in some Black Friday shopping and finding the best deals, Target will be open on Friday, Nov 26, 2021.

Target is not open on Thanksgiving this year

But make sure to check the hours for your local Target. While most are opening at 7 a.m., it’s better to check ahead of time than be waiting in your car in the parking lot until they open (yes, I’ve done this before).

Although, if you’re looking for deals, Target is running a Black Friday Week starting on Sunday, Nov 21, 2021 and ending Saturday, Nov 27, 2021. That means you can get your deals before Thanksgiving even gets here. Why not beat the crowds?

Some of the deals include 30% off beauty gift sets, up to 30% off sleepwear, $99.99 for a PowerXL Air Fryer Square Dual Basket, and buy one, get one 50% off on select toys from Marvel, Beyblade, Play-Doh, and more.

If you need to buy anything on Thanksgiving Day, you can always order it on their website and have it shipped to you. It’s not instantaneous, but it’s better than nothing, right?
