I have found that people who enjoy fast food are usually one of two types. They either love the Whopper from Burger King or the Big Mac from McDonald’s. Some people do enjoy both but everyone has a preference. Me? I’m a Whopper with cheese and bacon kind of guy.

The best part is you can get a Whopper pretty much anytime you want. Unlike most of the really cool variations we’ve seen in other parts of the world that look so amazing (I’m looking at you Franken Whopper) the burger is available all year long.

But does that include holidays? Like Thanksgiving for example?

I mean, sure, someone in your house will probably spend Thanksgiving cooking a turkey with all the trimmings, including stuffing and that god-awful green bean casserole that people only make at Thanksgiving. Seriously, who created that mess of a side dish? It’s disgusting looking and tastes even worse. There is no way in hell…

Sorry. Went off on a bit of a tangent. Where was I? Oh right, can you get a Whopper on Thanksgiving?

Will your local Burger King be open on Thanksgiving Day?

It turns out that the answer is yes. Burger King will be open on Thanksgiving Day in 2021. So if you really need a Whopper before you sit down to eat dinner with your friends and family, Burger King has your back.

Keep in mind that most Burger Kings will likely have limited hours on Thanksgiving and there is a chance your local one could be closed due to staffing issues. Your best bet is to call or check online to make sure before heading out the door.

There is a certain amount of comfort that comes with knowing that if you really want a Whopper on Thanksgiving you will be able to get one. Now if we could just banish the green bean casserole to the Island of Misfit Toys, my holiday wish list would be complete.
