Cookbooks are always a great gift idea when looking to surprise not only the readers in your life, but also the cooks and bakers. And while not everyone is out here reading cookbooks for fun (I mean I do), with these gift ideas, that might change.

When it comes to picking up cookbooks as a gift, we don’t want the usual options. We want to pick up the fun choices that not everyone would think about. And we want the books that our gift recipient might not grab for themselves.

So what does that mean? It means thinking outside of the cooking box. And that’s where these cookbooks come into the gift giving picture.

Whether it is a Disney themed collection or recipes or cocktails inspired by Tarot readings, these books may just make it onto your shelves too!

5 Cookbooks perfect for gift giving this holiday season

  • Life Is a Party: Deliciously Doable Recipes to Make Every Day a Celebration by David Burtka – This collection of recipes are all about making every day something special. And while this is an older release (relatively speaking since it was released in 2019), it is a favorite of ours. Have fun, make it beautiful, and remember that every day is a day to party.
  • Delicious Disney: The Fresh Edition Book – If you are a Disney addict, then this is the recipe collection for you. With this book, you get some of the best and most loved recipes from all corners of Disney. We are talking recipes from the different Disney Parks, their Cruises, and more. This is a must for Disney fans and it is a must for cooks and bakers looking to have some fun in the kitchen.
  • Life’s a Puppy Party by Heather Hunt – This is not your ordinary cookbook. Life’s a Puppy Party is a collection of dog-friendly recipes, as well as tips, tricks, and things to do with your dogs. This book is for the dog lovers out there who want to whip up the perfect treats for them. As an added bonus, this book is a pop of color that will leave anyone reaching for it on repeat.
  • Tarot & Tequila: A Tarot Guide with Cocktails by David A Ross – For people who follow the Tarot, this is the book for you, especially if you also enjoy a cocktail at the end of a long day. There are a wide range of cocktails to choose from and if you want to pair that sip with a tarot reading, then this book has you (or the person you are gifting this book to) covered. This book breaks down the tarot, while also explaining why this is the drink to choose, which is fascinating to read all about. Plus, the book in general is stunning and makes a beautiful gift. And when it comes to pairing a cocktail with tarot, this is the book we didn’t know we needed.
  • Toaster Oven Takeover by Roxanne Wyss and Kathy Moore – So many people have a toaster oven in their life, but don’t seem to be taking advantage of this kitchen appliance to its fullest potential. And then we have the Toaster Over Takeover, which gives us a guide to creating delicious dishes that we never knew we could make using our trusty toaster over! This is the cookbook I never knew I was missing in my life. And now that I have it, my toaster oven is getting the ultimate workout. It’s amazing and at this point, every recipe I have tried has been truly delicious.
