Albertsons has launched two new digital features to help shoppers
When it comes to grocery shopping, we all have our favorite stores. Depending on where you live, you may have multiple options for your shopping needs, or you may not. But if you are lucky enough to have an Albertsons nearby, they want to help make shopping easier with two new digital offerings.
In a press release from Albertsons that was released on December 14, we learned that the grocery store chain is now offering two digital features designed to make our lives easier.
Up first we have the Schedule & Save feature, which is a virtual service that lets their customers save money on items they are already buying. This allows them to get their most commonly purchased goods replenished on a regular basis for less money than they would normally spend right off the store shelves.
In the press release from the company, they explain Schedule & Save as a feature that lets customers set it and forget it. Basically, “the products scheduled for purchase will be offered at an attractive discounted price, reflecting significant savings off the average shelf price, available for pick-up or delivery.”

But our favorite feature that they have released is the new Menu Planning option. It helps us get organized with our shopping and brings us a plethora of recipes to choose from in order to keep our weekly meals unique and delicious.
Menu Planning takes the guesswork out of our week and that is automatically amazing. And according to the press release,
"The company’s new Meal Plans feature seamlessly integrates top-rated meal planning app, Mealime, to help customers answer the ongoing question, “what’s for dinner?”. The Meal Plans feature provides an easy, convenient and personalized way to plan meals and cook recipes that is unrivaled in the market. Members have access to thousands of delicious, shoppable recipes developed by professional chefs and dietitians that are curated and refined based on taste and dietary preferences."
Albertsons is making shopping and meal planning easier than ever. And we are here for that.
But what do you think of these two new virtual features? Are these something you would use? Are you going to give either the Menu Planning or the Schedule & Save feature a try for yourself? Tell us what you think in the comments.
