When it comes to meal delivery services, there are a lot on the market right now. And while I have tried one or two in the past, none come close to Every Plate.
If you have never heard of Every Plate before, they are “The Affordable Meal Kit for Everyone,” with a variety of dishes for every taste. But not only are these dishes affordable, they are on trend. And while that may not seem important, even in the foodie world, there are trends that come and go that people want an opportunity to try.
Every week, you get the chance to choose new meals that are delivered to your door for the next week. There are about 17 meals to choose from every week and you can choose to feed between 2 and 4 people. And all of the meals feature the time that it takes to go from ingredients to the table (including prep time and cook time).
The Every Plate meals come with everything you need to create an amazing meal (except for a few basics, such as olive oil, butter, salt, and pepper). Plus, each delivery comes with the recipe card that you can save and use again. And maybe that is why I love Every Plate, because I have recreated these recipes and the results were just as delicious even without the ingredients being sent to me pre-portioned.
Every Plate is the must-try meal kit service we are heading into 2022 with
The three meals I got to try were the,
- Zesty Herb-Rubbed Salmon with Roasted Potatoes, Green Beans, & Creamy Lemon Garlic Sauce – This was a meal I have made more than once now and it has been a winner every single time. This meal alone would be enough to convince me that Every Plate was a winner.
- Dijon Butter Steak with Rosemary Potatoes & Roasted Asparagus – While this was another delicious meal, I admit that the dijon mustard they sent busted in the box and I do not have that in my fridge. So I had to improvise with a different mustard. The asparagus and potatoes were amazing. And while the steak was tasty, I really wish I had been able to enjoy it the way they intended us to. I have yet to even try to make this meal again, but it is in the queue for sometime in January.
- Roasted Zucchini, Bell Pepper, & Tomato Penne in Tuscan-Spiced Cream Sauce – This is another winner that was so easy to make and I have made again. This meal was surprisingly more intensive than the other two meals with protein, but this was also so good that it was entirely worth it. While there is an option to add chicken to this meal, I opted not to add any chicken. And eventually I will give the chicken option a try, but so far it has been all about the veggies and pasta straight up.
All three of these Every Plate meals were easy to make and easy to recreate, making this a meal kit that I can’t help but love and want to try again. And now is the perfect time to sign up, whether as a gift for a loved one (hello Christmas gift idea!!!) or to start 2022 on the right track.
In fact, we are already looking at the Every Plate website to see what their current menu has to offer. And once again, we are talking about trendy meals that sound easy to make and delicious.
