If you love bacon and you’re looking for a new appetizer to share any time of the day, this new menu item at Bob Evans is the one you want.

Is there ever a bad time to enjoy bacon? We think not. And apparently Bob Evans agrees.

According to the fine foodies over at Chew Boom, Bob Evans has added a new appetizer to their Shareables & Sides menu. And it’s not just any appetizer – it’s bacon!

The new addition to the sides/appetizer menu is Blue Ribbon Bacon. That’s right it is a straight up plate of bacon. Of course, there is a bit more to it than just a slab of bacon, but still! We are impressed.

So what exactly is their Blue Ribbon Bacon and what makes it so special that it is now an appetizer?

"Blue Ribbon Bacon features center-cut hardwood-smoked bacon glazed with house-made black pepper maple honey."

It sounds delicious for bacon lovers. But of course, just knowing what we are getting isn’t enough. We also need to know how much we get and how much this plate of bacon will cost us.

Apparently you get five strips of the Blue Ribbon Bacon per orders, with orders costing us $4.99. That’s right, it is basically $5 for 5 when it comes to strips of bacon.

Whether you share a plate of the Blue Ribbon Bacon or just eat the entire thing yourself, Bob Evans has us covered with the perfect plate of deliciousness ever. And yes, we have every plan to order a straight up plate of bacon to go with a thing of fresh biscuits and gravy.
