Is McDonald’s open on New Year’s Day 2022?

After a long night of partying, is there anything better than starting the morning with an Egg McMuffin and Hashbrowns from McDonald’s?

And we all know that New Year’s Eve is the ultimate celebration. It is the party that ends one year and rings in a new one. As we head into 2022, we are celebrating the end of another long year, with plenty of ups and downs.

So after all that, we are celebrating one night and looking for something to kick start our new year the next morning. Which is why we want something fast and delicious, and if it happens to be a little greasy, we aren’t complaining.

But where are we getting this fast and delicious meal on New Year’s Day? And can we go to McDonald’s on January 1 to make our morning after the party as tasty as ever?

Will McDonald’s be open on New Year’s Day?

According to Mashed, we are in luck! McDonald’s will be open on New Year’s Day 2022. Of course, we often say that the best way to confirm that your restaurant is open is to check their app or call ahead, because we know that 95 percent of McDonald’s locations are franchises, which means that they get to set their own hours.

The biggest thing we recommend is checking restaurant hours in general because there have been reports of different locations having different opening hours than usual (in particular, opening later than normal).

Knowing that McDonald’s will be open on New Year’s Day, we know that we will be getting to start the new year by enjoying an Egg McMuffin, Hashbrowns, and maybe even a Sausage McGriddle. But what will you be starting your new year with?
