As soon as Christmas came to an end, a new day dawned and Valentine’s Day candy began to trickle onto store shelves all across the land. And none were so plentiful as Target.

While we were on the hunt for clearance Christmas chocolates and treats at Target, they were making sure that the shelves were loaded with all of the goodies we need for a romantic Valentine’s Day.

So what does that mean? It means that we can ring in a new year with heart shaped boxes of chocolates, bon bons, and more. But seriously, if you love chocolates and love, you’re in luck!

And what exactly has made it to the shelves of Target? All the usual suspects of course!

Valentine’s Day candy and chocolates have arrived on Target shelves

Not only did we find Lindt Lindor heart boxes of chocolate, but there were bags of their truffles all decorated with hearts too. Of course, the candy love doesn’t stop there!

Other romantic themed treats included M&Ms, the Whitman’s samplers, Dove hearts, Gobstoppers, Russell Stover hearts, and so much more. If it has a heart shape, comes in pinks and reds, and is basically a sweet treat for our sweeties, they seem to have it on their shelves.

And that’s not all, because if you look really closely, mixed in with the Valentine’s Day magic was Easter treats too! That’s right, Spring has sprung at Target early, and all of our sweet dreams have come to be.

So if you want to kick start the romance early, Target has us covered.

Are you surprised that Target already has shelves and aisles of Valentine’s Day treats on sale? Will you be snagging any of these sweets early? Have you already started to pick up those Valentine’s Day chocolates for yourself or someone else or is it too early? We want to know.
