If you are a regular here in Guilty Eats Country, then you know that whenever we talk about Arby’s, we have to talk about the fact that they have the meats. It’s something the fast food chain is exceedingly proud of and we really like to make sure everyone knows.
Now that we have gotten the meats and Arby’s possession of them out of the way, we can discuss other things. Such as the serious expansion of the Arby’s menu options that have filled the foodie world as of late.
First came word of the ridiculously hot Diablo Dare Chicken Sandwich, which you must be a bit crazy to even think about trying. Then came word of the addition of not one, not two but three fish sandwiches for the Lenten season which can make a person think that Arby’s wants to have all the fish in addition to all the meats.
Now Thrillist is reporting that on top of all that Arby’s goodness, a fan favorite sandwich is back on the menu. It has been spotted in the wild over the last few weeks but now the fast food keepers of the meats have made it official. The Double Stacked Reuben is back.
The Double Stacked Reuben at Arby’s is a monster of a sandwich.
So why should you be excited about the return of the Double Stacked Reuben? Because if you love the meats as much as Arby’s does, this is the sandwich for you.
The Double Stacked Reuben includes seven, count ’em, seven ounces of thinly sliced corn beef topped with Swiss cheese, thousand island dressing and a healthy does of sauerkraut. All that comes sandwiched between a pair of slices of toasted marble rye bread.
That is one sandwich that takes the term double stacked very seriously.
One of these will set you back $7.49, but if you’re hungry you can add a side and a drink for an extra three bucks. That makes this one deal that someone who loves reuben should not pass up.
According to Arby’s, the Double Stacked Reuben will be available all year round, so you can take your time and wait until you are really hungry to try and tackle one.
