Jack In The Box: what hearty new menu item are they testing out?!

Do you like cheese? Do you like potatoes/fries? How about both of them together? If you answered yes to all of these questions (or at least one of them, come on), then you’re certainly in luck because Jack In The Box has been spotted testing out a brand new item that is not just another version or variety of some classic fast food French fries – it’s so so much more than that!

Before we tell ya exactly what this new menu item is, this new Jack In The Box cheesy potato thingy will come in two different varieties to which most people say are perfect for sharing. Let’s be honest, though…if something like a cheesy potato dish is that good, are you really willing to share? I’m definitely not sharing this one, let me tell ya.

First of all, unless you live near their Bakersfield location (in California), then you’re out of luck because they are almost exclusively testing this new menu item out there (boo).

Second of all, enter the brand new Jack In The Box menu item: Tater Scoops. Upon first glance of the name, it already sounds like something I want in my belly immediately. According to Chew Boom, they come in a Loaded and also in a Spicy Loaded variety, perfect for either end of the flavor spectrum fans over here.

Here’s how Mashed.com explained the brand new cheesy potato menu item to be like:

"“…”deep-fried,” and topped, “with cheddar cheese sauce, bacon pieces, spicy ranch, shredded cheddar cheese.” The “Spicy Loaded” option also comes with jalapeños for an extra kick.”"

What’s the price of this brand new Jack In The Box cheesy potato product?

Each order just costs $3.50.

While we don’t know the exact sizing of each individual order, that does (still) seem pretty affordable.
