MasterChef Junior hosts their very own baby shower for Daphne Oz

Season 8 of MasterChef Junior has been an interesting mix of talented young chefs getting a chance to shine and the judges finally being truly critical of these children. And in their fifth episode, it was all about Daphne Oz.

What does that mean? It means that the chefs were broken into two teams in order to cook for an epic baby shower! That’s right, MasterChef Junior hosted their very own baby shower.

The girls were the pink team and the boys were the blue team. And let’s just say, both teams made mistakes, but the boys were definitely lacking in the teamwork. In fact, at one point it was definitely all about them pointing fingers and blaming each other for problems in the kitchen.

In fact, the boys actually sent out undercooked chicken! And since this was a baby shower and there were multiple pregnant women at this event, that was definitely an issue!

With the MasterChef Junior chefs cooking up delicious dishes for Daphne Oz’s TV baby shower, it was all about the mistakes to determine who would go home. Unfortunately, that left the blue team as the losers of the night. After all, they were the ones who served the raw chicken to a room filled with pregnant ladies.

The biggest issue of the night was the cooking of the chicken and that led to Freddy getting sent home as he was one of the main chefs behind the cooking of the entree. As Gordon Ramsay said to him, this was his “weakest performance.” The sad thing is that this weak performance was one that was just impossible to overcome.

It was an interesting night and it was one that was definitely worth watching. But next time, the members of the blue team needs to be more mindful of their cooking.
