Is Krispy Kreme open on Easter 2022?

Easter is almost here and while it’s usually filled with PEEPS, chocolate bunnies, and maybe some ham for dinner, nobody says there can’t be some Krispy Kreme donuts on the menu. They came out with a whole donut collection for Easter. Why not have some on the day? But is the donut shop actually open on Easter?

Unfortunately, Easter is one of the few days Krispy Kreme is not open so, sadly, no donuts with our jelly beans. They are also usually closed on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving.

So if you’re looking to get donuts for Easter, you’ll have to get them the day before and keep them (not eat them) until the next day (a Herculean task). They won’t be “hot and fresh” but there is really no such thing as a really bad Krispy Kreme donut.

And if you are getting donuts the day before Easter, you at least have to get one or two of the Easter-themed ones. There have four mini donuts for Easter: a mini cake batter one shaped like an egg, a mini Kreme donut that is designed like a chick, a mini chocolate Kreme donut that is iced with chocolate, and a mini strawberry and Kreme donut that is iced with pink frosting.

Krispy Kreme is not open on Easter this year

As these are specifically for Easter, they will probably be gone the day after so you’ll want to get them while you can. They are definitely way cuter than PEEPS and far more delicious!

And if you simply need a sugar fix after all the Easter festivities are done (who doesn’t), Krispy Kreme will be open the Monday after Easter during their regular hours.
