Despite not being as big and recognizable at the likes of Burger King and McDonald’s, Roy Rogers still has a very loyal following of fans. Many still feel that the fast food chain’s burgers and fried chicken are the best hands down.

And for many a fast food aficionado, a Roy Rogers Roast Beef Sandwich is the best you can get, no matter how many meats Arby’s says they may or may not have.

Roy Rogers is also known for trying new things and new concepts, such as their Big Sky Burger which they added to their menu for a limited time last summer. Now with the warm weather starting to once again make its presence known, it’s also time for another new burger to make its debut.

This time, according to the press email we at Guilty Eats received, it’s a burger they recently tested with great success. So much so that they have announced it will be going nationwide this summer. So get ready to say hello to the Mushroom Jack Burger.

Roy Rogers is also bringing back their High Noon Cold Brew Coffee.

The Mushroom Jack Burger includes fresh portobello mushrooms, garlic aioli sauce and Monterey Jack cheese all on one of Roy Rogers signature burgers. It’s a unique take on a fast food burger when compared to the offerings from the other chains. In fact, this is something Mark Jenkins, Senior Director of Marketing is well aware of.

"“With burgers, beef and chicken as our staple menu items, we have a lot of room to get creative with toppings and pairings to take our offerings to the next level. We are thrilled at the excitement observed during the initial testing of the Mushroom Jack Burger and can’t wait to share portobello mushrooms with our royalists for the first time.”"

In addition, Roy Rogers is also bringing back their High Noon Cold Brewed Coffee for the summer season. To celebrate, if you stop in during Happy Hour between 2 PM to 5 PM and get 50 percent off any regular sized cold brew.

Both the Mushroom Jack Burger and the return of High Noon Cold Brew Coffee will be only for a limited time, so if you want to try either, or maybe both, find your local Roy Rogers and get to the drive-thru.
