The ready-to-drink cocktail market is booming! Last week, we shared some ready-to-drink cocktails that are perfect for celebrating Cinco de Mayo. Since the holiday is taking place this Thursday, we wanted to share some additional beverages on our radar that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home, not only on May 5th, but for the rest of the summer!

Ready-to-Drink Cocktails for Cinco de Mayo and beyond

Buena Fé

According to their website, Buena Fé is “the world’s first 100% USDA certified organic tequila ready-to-drink cocktail.” These newly released cocktails are made with organic juice and agave tequila blanco and are produced in Jalisco, Mexico. They currently come in two different fruity flavors:  Mango Pineapple and Watermelon Strawberry, both of which sound perfect for summer sipping.  Buena Fé means “Good Faith” in Spanish and, according to the company, “represents the clean and pure nature of our Organic Quenchers”. The cocktails retail for $13.99 per 4-pack and are currently available in select cities in the United States.

Dogfish Head Canned Cocktails

Dogfish Head Brewery was founded over 25 years ago in Milton, Delaware. While many of us are familiar with their various beers, you may be less familiar with their canned cocktails. Flavors perfect for Cinco de Mayo include the citrus-forward Blood Orange & Mango Vodka Crush or Lemon & Lime Gin Crush. However, the company has other canned cocktail flavors including Strawberry & Honeyberry Vodka Lemonade, Cherry Bergamot Whisky Sour and Blueberry Shrub Vodka Soda.  The Blueberry Shrub Vodka Soda  is one of the few canned cocktails that I’ve seen that incorporates the use of shrubs and it even won Best in Show at the 2020 Los Angeles Spirit Awards. These cocktails are 7% ABV and can be purchased at select stores throughout the country. You can use the Fish Finder on the website to help locate these cocktails near you.

There are so many great ready-to-drink cocktails that you can enjoy on Cinco de Mayo!

On The Rocks Premium Cocktails (OTR)

Break out your glassware to enjoy On The Rocks Premium Cocktails (OTR)! Although some of us may enjoy a homemade classic Margarita, I know that I personally don’t enjoy measuring out the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, etc. Plus, I don’t always have all the ingredients at home to make it. On the Rocks Premium Cocktails are spirit-based cocktails that come bottled. All you have to do is fill your glass with ice and pour the cocktail. It’s an elevated drinking experience with no measuring needed! Although the Margarita and Jalapeño Pineapple Margarita are perfect for Cinco de Mayo, they also have The Cosmopolitan, The Mai Tai, The Aviation and The Old Fashioned in their OTR Cocktail line.

These bottled cocktails can be purchased online or at select stores, hotels and bars throughout the country. There is a store locator on their website.

Onda Tequila

Many of us know Shay Mitchell from her role as Emily Fields in the television show Pretty Little Liars. However, you may not know that she co-founded the tequila seltzer brand Onda. Onda is a ready-to-drink canned sparkling tequila seltzer. It is made with real fruit juice and blanco tequila from one of the few women-owned distilleries in Jalisco, Mexico. The name Onda, which in Spanish means “wave”, evokes images in my mind of the ocean and the beach. Their Paradise Collection with flavors that include Mango, Passion Fruit, Pineapple, and Strawberry makes me want to take a tropical vacation! The Classic Collection includes Grapefruit, Lime, Blood Orange and Watermelon.  All of these sound delicious and refreshing!

Onda is 5% ABV and 100 calories. These cocktails can be purchased online or in select retail stores. There is a store locator on their website.
