Although baseball season starts in April, summer has the bulk of the scheduled games and is the real heart of the season. The Yankees are one of New York State’s beloved teams with a long history. While a traditionalist may opt for a classic hot dog and shell-on peanuts, there are so many interesting dining options available when you’re at the stadium watching a game. Here are some of the new Yankee Stadium eats that can be enjoyed this season:

Benihana:  Benihana, found in section 127, has been serving up their hibachi, yakisoba, and poke bowls to fans since 2019. However, this season they have introduced a spicy tuna sushi burrito and a spicy salmon sushi burrito.

City Winery Wine Bar: City Winery opened at Yankee Stadium in 2018 and was the first wine bar. Located in Section 105, the restaurant has debuted two new menu items this season. Fans can pick up a GOAT Burger (a steakhouse elite burger topped with Drunken Goat Cheese, a balsamic fig spread and arugula) and a lemon-herb marinated Rotisserie chicken served with roasted potatoes or French fries.

The Halal Guys: Most New Yorkers are familiar with the Halal Guys, which started out serving late-night street food out of a cart in Manhattan. Fans can now enjoy their platters and sandwiches in the stadium, where they have carts at the Great Hall and section 321.

King’s Hawaiian: In section 115, King’s Hawaiian also added new items to their menu. They have a Sweet & Smokey chicken sandwich, a Kanak Attack Burger (steakhouse elite burger topped with grilled Spam, pineapple mango salsa and a cilantro lime crema) and, available for a limited time only, Korean Bulgogi Sliders. All these sandwiches are served on King’s Hawaiian signature sweetened buns.

Streetbird: Ethiopian-Swedish Chef Marcus Samuelsson, known for his soul food, opened Streetbird. Found in section 112, you can get fried chicken and comfort food classics. Think chicken and waffles, chicken sandwiches, cornbread and sweet potato fries.

Yankee Stadium Grand Slam Shakes: You can pick up a giant shake in Sections 112, 125 and 324. MLB.com shared the following new shake flavors this season:
