Velveeta launches new cheese-scented nail polish

Velveeta is getting in on the merchandise game but in the weirdest way possible. They could have gone with an apparel line but instead, they decided to go down the beauty route and created a very unique nail polish.

Velveeta has partnered with Nails.INC to make the limited-edition Velveeta Pinkies Out Polish. You get two polishes in the set: one red and one yellow. But guess what? They are both cheese-scented. Yes, you read that right. The two nail polishes are named Finger Food (red) and La Dolce Velveeta (yellow). You can also get nail stickers that look like drippy cheese.

I don’t know why anyone would want their nails to smell like cheese. It smells good when it’s coming from your oven or a pot on the stove, but it’s not exactly the odor you want coming from your hands  (or your feet!). And while the stickers are convenient, who wants the look of drippy cheese on their nails?? That is not a good look!

But if this is something you’re interested in, the nail polish set is available at the Nails.INC website. The polish set duo is currently $15 and comes in a very bright yellow box.

The nail stickers are $4.99 and also comes in a yellow container with drippy-looking cheese on each package. The stickers include phrases like “creamy” and “drip” as well as different drip shapes and pasta shell shapes.

Since this offer is only available while supplies last, if you are interested in your nails looking like they are covered in cheese, you’ll want to buy the nail polish before it sells out. It likely won’t be coming back.

While this is definitely a strange product, it’s bound to only get weirder from here. There seems to be no end in sight for food brands coming out with new and unexpected merchandise. We’ll probably see a Velveeta eyeshadow palette sooner than we thought possible.
