Late last year we shared the news that Taco Bell, always an innovative fast food chain, was trying something new with the classic burrito. It was called a Cheesy Beefy Melt Burrito and it sounded like an amazing addition to the menu.

The problem? At the time the test was taking place it was only being done in select Ohio locations. Which meant for the rest of us, we were out of luck and would have to hope The Bell decided to take the new item national.

Thankfully, according to the folks at Chewboom, who love Taco Tuesday almost as much as we do, that is in fact what has just been announced. Taco Bell slightly tweaked the name but the price and what comes in it are exactly the same.

The new Taco Bell Cheesy Double Beef Burrito is just two bucks.

Taco Bell is calling the new burrito the $2 Cheesy Double Beef Burrito and as the name strongly implies, it will only set you back a total of eight quarters no matter which version you decide on. Yes, you read that right. The new item comes in two different varieties.

First is the $2 Classic Cheesy Double Beef Burrito which includes a double portion of seasoned beef, rice, nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, fiesta strips and a three-cheese blend all wrapped inside a warm flour tortilla.

The $2 Spicy Cheesy Double Beef Burritos includes all the same thing as the Classic except instead of fiesta strips you get red strips and they add a healthy does of jalapeno peppers to give your burrito an extra kick.

Regardless, both will only set you back two bucks, which is a steal. You can buy five of them for just a ten spot. The $2 Cheesy Double Beef Burrito will only be available for a limited time, so get them while you can.
