It’s the chance of a lifetime for fans of Serendipity3. It’s the chance to enjoy an omelette inspired by foodie legend, James Beard. Noy only is this omelette his recipe, it is truly a next level creation made with the freshest of ingredients. And it is one that has been lovingly recreated by Serendipity in honor of their 68th anniversary.

According to the press email that we received, this is a recipe that the founders of Serendipty3 were actually taught by James Beard himself. Considering “America’s Foodie” was apparently known to be a diner at the New York City establishment, it makes sense that he would want to share this recipe with the people behind the brand.

And now, this amazing omelette recipe is one that you can try for yourself this weekend only. While the $68 price tag might seem a bit extravagant, there is so much more to this order than just getting a decadent omelette.

So what all goes into this celebration of 68 years?

In the press email they explained that,

"Available from Thursday, September 15 through Sunday, September 18, the famous “James Beard Fine Herbes Omelette with Urbani Kaluga Caviar and Créme Fraîche” will be available at Serendipity3 to patrons for $68 with 10% of proceeds donated to James Beard Foundation."

For those of you in the area looking to enjoy this next level omelette, while also giving back, you can actually make reservations for the NYC restaurant with the help of Resy.

And if you are wondering what makes this omelette and dish so special,

"The “James Beard Fine Herbes Omelette with Urbani Kaluga Caviar and Crème Fraîche” is a French style omelette infused with fine herbes, such as parsley, tarragon, chervil and chives—topped with a dollop of crème fraîche and finished with a generous 1/2 ounce of Urbani Kaluga Caviar. This iconic breakfast dish is also served with a herbed frisée salad with champagne vinaigrette."

Sounds amazing right? Honestly this is not just an iconic dish, it is one that we wish we could get our hands on for ourselves. (Sadly we won’t be able to make it to NYC for this special weekend only experience.)

There are breakfast plates and then there are elevated dishes that take classic meals to a whole new level. And when the name James Beard is included in the recipe, you know things will be taken to the next level of fine dining and deliciousness.

But we want to know what you think of this opportunity. Are you a fan of Serendipity3? Do you want to try this iconic, James Beard omelette for yourself? Will you be able to head to the restaurant for your own next level omelette? We want to know!
