SONIC is expanding into the pet market for the month of October

SONIC is going from Drive-in dining to spoiling our pups with merchandise and even a Wag Cup! That’s right October is the month of the dogs at SONIC!

According to a press email we received on behalf of SONIC, starting on October 3, not only are they launching a Wag Shop of goodies for our pups that include costumes and dog toys, but they are also expanding their current menu to include the perfect treat for our pups to enjoy. But let’s start with the Wag Shop!

Pet parents looking to show off their love of all things SONIC and their foods (and drinks) can head to the new Wag Shop for any number of amazing goodies. So what can we snag for our pups?

Up first we have to talk about the costumes. There are actually two costumes you can choose from – a Cherry Limeade or a Hot Dog! We love both costumes and how they absolutely represent the Drive-in perfectly.

Then there are the dog toys. “Your dog no longer has to stare enviously at your SONIC meal, as they can now enjoy plush versions of SONIC fan-favorites including the iconic Corn Dogs, Tots and Limeades.” Sounds good to us! We love spoiling our pups with new dog toys and getting to share our favorites off the menu without actually having to share the actual corn dogs, tots, and limeades is definitely perfect for us.

Then there are the bandanas and even hats, although the hats are definitely for us. So it absolutely means there is something for every pup and every pup parent.

But it doesn’t stop there as as the restaurant is also adding something special to the actual menu for our pups – Wag Cups!

In the press email we learned that, “This month, SONIC is giving away free Wag Cup treats with any SONIC App purchase.* This whipped topping treat is sure to satisfy your best friend’s sweet tooth.” So not only can your pup get a treat, but it’s a free treat!

So whether you snag your pup a Wag Cup or hop into the Wag Shop for a costume or dog toy (or anything else in the collection), there really is something for everyone in this collection.
