Culver’s bringing CurderBurger back to their menu
Let’s go back to April 1, 2021. On that day, there were lots of pranks but one of the biggest was Culver’s announcing their CurderBurger. It was a massive cheese curd in between two buns.
But after fans demanded it become real and a Change.org petition was created, the fast food restaurant decided to make the joke a reality. That occurred last October but for one day only. Well, fans are in luck because the CurderBurger is back!
On Wednesday, Oct 12, 2022, Culver’s CurderBurger is returning to its menu and will be available until the end of October or while supplies last. Considering how fast it went at some of the locations last year, you may want to get one as close to the premiere date as possible. And don’t forget to get a side order of cheese curds for an extra cheesy meal!
Quinn Adkins, the director of menu development at Culver’s described the unexpected pandemonium that occurred last year during National Cheese Curd Day and the reason they decided to bring back the unique burger:
"The excitement and enthusiasm surrounding the CurderBurger on National Cheese Curd Day last year was simply amazing, but unfortunately, many guests were unable to enjoy the sandwich due to the limited availability. We realized we had to bring it back in a much larger way for 2022, and we’re hopeful our guests will say it was worth the wait."
Culver’s bringing back the CurderBurger starting Oct 12
If you didn’t see it last year, the CurderBurger consists of a Deluxe ButterBurger that is topped with a slab of yellow and white cheddar cheese curds that are surrounded by breadcrumbs and fried. It’s cheesy, it’s gooey, and if you didn’t get one last year, this is a perfect time!
Additionally, if you purchase a CurderBurger, you have the opportunity to win an exclusive CurderBurger t-shirt. For the chance to win, all you have to do is upload a picture of your CurderBurger or a photo of your receipt to culvers.com/curderburger from Oct 12 through Oct 25.
