Jeni’s Ice Cream teams up with Uncle Nearest Whiskey for the perfect holiday treat

It doesn’t matter what time of the year it is, you can never go wrong with ice cream. And you can especially never go wrong with Jeni’s Ice Cream.

Just in time for the holiday season, Jeni’s is bringing back one of their more festive flavors of ice cream – Boozy Eggnog! But for 2022 the boozy aspect of this ice cream comes courtesy of Uncle Nearest Whiskey.

According to the press email we received on behalf of Jeni’s Ice Cream,

"These two beloved female-led brands have reimagined Jeni’s Boozy Eggnog ice cream – which was inspired by Jeni’s grandfather, who always made his eggnog the Midwestern way, spiked with whiskey. The festive flavor is made using grass-grazed dairy for a salted egg custard base spiked with nutmeg and Uncle Nearest 1884 small batch whiskey. The super silky texture and rich flavor are complemented by the boozy warmth of the whiskey, which flavors the ice cream like a complex vanilla with notes of caramel for a sweet finish."

Sounds amazing right? We are pretty excited for this particular flavor of ice cream to officially drop on the Jeni’s website and in their actual ice cream shops.

I am a big fan of eggnog (although I’m not normally a boost eggnog drinker) so knowing that there is an eggnog flavor of ice cream is exciting. And of course, we really love this partnership too.

We love seeing female-led brands working together and when the partnership gives us something decadent and delicious, count us in.

The official launch date for the Boozy Eggnog is October 27 and we can’t wait. This is definitely going to be the ice cream of choice all holiday season long.
