Everything you need to know about Starbucks Red Cup Day 2022

It’s officially the holiday season! Stores are featuring their holiday gift guides, towns are decorated with pointsettia flowers and all lit up, but more importantly restaurants and coffee shops are coming out with their holiday menus – everyone’s favorite! Every year, Starbucks has their annual Red Cup Day where they give out reusable plastic cups with any order.

This Year’s Red Cup Design

2022’s Red Cup Day features the classic red plastic cups, as always, but this year there is a pretty white ornament design with a celebratory message surrounding it to commemorate it being the 25th anniversary of said cups – wow! I didn’t even know that they’ve been doing this for that long!

What Are These Cups Made Out Of?

All of these red cups, every year, are reusable! They are also made from 50% recycled materials!

Where Can You Place Orders In Order To Receive A Free Cup?

This year, the cups are available no matter where you make your order! Use the Starbucks app, go there in person, or even order it for delivery! Isn’t that just super awesome?

How Do You Get A Cup?

All you have to do is place an order for a holiday drink, I believe. This year, that includes any Fall drinks that you’re still craving too – not just the newly rolled out Winter menu items!

2022 Winter/Holiday Menu Over At Starbucks

Here are all of the drinks that count towards scoring your free reusable red cup:

• Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte (I’ll be trying with Oatmilk I believe for a change)
• Peppermint Mocha (better as a white mocha IMO)
• Caramel Brulée Latte
• Toasted White Chocolate Mocha (one of the best Starbucks drinks ever IMO)
• Chestnut Praline Latte
• Irish Cream Cold Brew (so excited to see this back – might be in the cards for me tomorrow)

While these don’t count towards getting your cup, here is the holiday food menu items, including a couple of new ones as well:

• Chocolate Pistachio Swirl (NEW)
• Reindeer Cake Pop – vanilla cake base
• Sugar Plum Cheese Danish – surprisingly super good, really delicious as well
• Cranberry Bliss Bar – white chocolate just makes this for me, will never get tired of these
• Snowman Cookie – always super cute, but I always hate eating his poor face

Whichever drink you choose to receive your free cup(s) tomorrow, just remember that any can be ordered either hot or iced, depending on your own personal preference(s)!
