It’s been a big few months if you are a Taco Bell fan. First it was revealed that for the first time in a decade the Enchirito would be returning to the menu after winning a fan vote via the Taco Bell app. And of course, Nacho Fries made their anticipated comeback as well.

Over the years Nacho Fries have become similar to the McRib at McDonald’s. Taco Bell won’t add the immensely popular side to the menu permanently but instead bring it back once or twice a year, making fans of The Bell crazy with excitement.

Well, according to the press email we at Guilty Eats were sent, fans of Nacho Fries will have a few more reasons to get excited. Because Taco Bell is not only extending their stay but they are also introducing a pair of brand new versions, one nationwide and the other in a test run.

New versions of Taco Bell Nacho Fries will only be available for a limited time.

First is Taco Bell’s 7-Layer Nacho Fries, which takes the classic Nacho Fries and turns them up to eleven. First they take a heaping helping of fries and then cover them with black beans, diced tomatoes, seasoned ground beef, chipotle sauce, shredded cheese and of course, nacho cheese sauce. Top them off with some guacamole and you have Nacho Fries taken to the next level.

Then there are Grilled Cheese Nacho Fries which take their inspiration from the chain’s popular Grilled Cheese Burrito. For these the fries are topped with marinated steak, nacho cheese sauce and a drizzle of guacamole sauce. Then they are covered with a mix of mozzarella, cheddar and pepper jack cheeses and grilled to melty perfection.

While the 7-Layer Nacho Fries are available nationwide, the Grilled Cheese Nacho Fries are testing only in the Sacramento, CA area for a limited time. But you can be sure if they’re a hit, they’ll arrive in Taco Bells everywhere.

Both have a price tag of $3.99 and are available right now. Get them while you can because as we all know, Nacho Fries don’t stay around forever.
