Is Red Lobster open on Thanksgiving Day 2022?

Sometimes you just want seafood in your life. And it doesn’t matter if it is a holiday dedicated to turkey or not, sometimes you want Red Lobster.

With their delicious shrimp scampi or butter poached lobster, the Cheddar Bay Biscuits and delicious deals, Red Lobster always has what we want. But what about on Thanksgiving Day?

Does Red Lobster bring the seafood goodness we know and love to Thanksgiving? Are they actually open on November 24? That is the question we needed an answer to this year.

Is Red Lobster closed on Thanksgiving Day 2022?

Sadly, we are out of luck if we want seafood from Red Lobster on Thanksgiving. That is because they will be closed for the holiday according to Country Living.

While we are sad to see that the restaurant is closed for the holiday, it actually doesn’t come as a surprise as this is the same news we got last year too. However, just because they will be closed that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy a little Cheddar Bay Biscuit magic this Thanksgiving.

Not only can you bake up your own batch of these biscuits of deliciousness thanks to the box mix they sell at the store, but the restaurant even released a fun recipe to make a stuffing out of their Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Having made this stuffing ourselves, we know that it is a winner all around and will make an excellent addition to any dinner this holiday season.

So while Red Lobster may not be open, we can still have some fun with their most iconic item – the Cheddar Bay Biscuits. And of course, we can always head on over to the closest Red Lobster on November 25 (Black Friday) and enjoy all the delicious menu items we didn’t get to enjoy for Thanksgiving dinner.
