First up is the Christmas Goose. First of all…huh? Second of all, geese hunting typically begins in or around the month of September up in Wisconsin. A lot of recipes out there flavor a typical Christmas Goose with some navel oranges, sage, port wine, and stuffing. Hunt and make dinner!
Second up is the Cheese Soup. First of all…it’s Wisconsin, so if we didn’t include some sort of cheesy recipe here, we’d go to food jail or the foodie nut house. Second of all, a nice and warm Cheese or even Beer Cheese Soup recipe is sure to warm you up. Hit me up for my beer one!

Featured Dish: Cheesy Bacon Jalapeño Muffins
Three Words to Describe It: Spicy, Meaty, Pillowy
We’ve all had corn muffins. We’ve all had cheddar jalapeño flavored something, am I right? Let’s basically combine these two ideas into one delicious appetizer or side dish nonetheless. Add in some salty bacon for additional and delicious flavors. Spicy jalapeños, salty bacon, creamy cheese, and super soft corn muffins just go together like the most perfect and happy family out there. What’s not to love about this recipe, especially when the jalapeño part of it is spicy and warm?!
