Is Starbucks open on Christmas Day 2022?

Is there anything better than starting the day with a cup of coffee or tea? How about if someone else makes it? That’s why Starbucks is our go-to stop for coffee, tea, and more. They are how we start our days.

Even on the holidays we want our classic lattes, our macchiatos, and even just a hot cup of coffee. So that means a trip to Starbucks is in order.

Of course, just because we want our Starbucks fix that doesn’t necessarily mean that we can get it on Christmas day. This led us down the rabbit hole of figuring out whether or not they would be open on December 25.

Is Starbucks closed on Christmas Day?

Nearly all free standing Starbucks location will be open on Christmas Day, whereas locations that are in other stores or in buildings like malls and office buildings that are closed on December 25 will also be closed.

Of course, just because the location nearest to you might be open, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they will be operating with their normal business hours. As the Krazy Koupon lady points out,

"Regular stand-alone Starbucks locations may have limited hours, although some will be open their regular hours. (It all depends on the store and the areas, so you’ll have to check out your local Starbucks for their hours of operation.)"

For us, we always check the app before doing anything else as it not only lets us know which location near us is open, but also when they may be closing for the day. We highly recommend checking the app or their online store locator if you are looking for your stores hours on Christmas Day.
