Is Costco open on New Year’s Eve 2022?

Need some last minute shopping before the new year? Want to grab some platters for at home celebrations? Then you might be wondering about Costco and their hours on New Year’s Eve.

When it comes to holiday shopping, we admit to being last minute shoppers. And it doesn’t matter if it is prepping for our New Year’s Eve party or just getting for the new year, we are the worst about being on top of our shopping needs.

Typically, this is why we head to Costco. We get to stock up on everything we need in one trip. (Sometimes we are even lucky enough to make it a quick trip and we get everything in that single trip.)

So with our last minute shopping habits, we need to know whether or not Costco is actually open on New Year’s Eve.

Is Costco closed on New Year’s Eve 2022?

Based on the Costco Customer Service Page about their holiday hours, we are actually in luck. That is because New Year’s Eve is not one of the holidays that they are closed.

This means that we are able to get in any and all last minute, bulk shopping at Costco on December 31 because they will be open. So if you need drinks for the party or even snacks to get through to a new year with, then you are in luck.

Not only are we able to snag all the necessities (because we always need the paper towel and toilet paper when we hit the wholesale warehouse stores), but we can grab trays of fruits, nuts, and even baked goods to ring in a new year with.
