PEEPSFEST is here to help ring in the new year

While lots of people will be ringing in 2023 with parties, friends, and food, PEEPS is welcoming the new year in a way that is truly unique and it not only includes a PEEP drop (instead of a ball drop) but a look at what PEEPS are coming in the new year.

PEEPSFEST began on Friday, Dec 30, 2022, but it’s also going on today (Dec 31) as well.  It runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and includes a ton of things to do and see. One of the biggest events is the PEEPS Chick Drop.

While the event doesn’t happen at midnight, attendees still get to see a giant PEEP drop to ring in the new year. The PEEP drop takes place at 5:35 p.m. and is followed by fireworks. Fireworks on New Year’s Eve, what’s better than that?

You’ll also get to see all the PEEPS that the brand has in store for Easter 2023. They will show off new shapes and new flavors that will be in Easter baskets around the country.

There will also be a bunch of live performances including from Lolly Hopwood, DJ Wesley Works, and Eddy Ray Magic. And since the event is outside, there will be warm drinks and coffee provided to keep everyone toasty.

Kids under 12 also get a treat bag filled with goodies and they get a voucher for a free s’mores kit. This is the only thing that makes me wish I was under 12 again.

The event takes place at SteelStacks at 101 Founders Way in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. While the event is currently sold out, we can only hope the sweets brand continues this tradition every year so we can all go and see the PEEP drop next year.
